Q: Do I have to pay to use Ninja Zoo?
A: No, it costs you nothing to design and sell products. The only time we charge people is when they are actually buying something.
Q: What's does commission mean for a shirt?
A: If you set a commission on a shirt then every time one of those shirts is sold you will be paid that commission. You will then be paid quarterly via Paypal.
Q: What does commission mean for a design?
A: If you share your designs then other people can use them. If someone else sells a shirt featuring your design then you will be paid the commission you set on the design.
Q: How do I get paid?
A: At the moment you need a Paypal account in order to get paid. You can sign up for on free here. You can add your Paypal account to your profile in Edit Profile sub-menu which is under the You menu when you are logged in.
Q: How do I delete an image?
A: Go to the Your designs sub-menu which is under the You menu when you are logged in, click on the design you wish to remove and then click Delete
Q: When do I get paid?
A: Any credit on your account will be payed into your Payal account at the beginning of each month.
Q: Why can't I make the image bigger on my T shirt?
A: The final image will depend on the size of original artwork you uploaded - for an image to look clear it needs to be at least 150 dpi at the size you would like it.
Q: How do I remove the background from my design?
A: The background of your design needs to be transparent. Once you have made the background transparent in your favourite graphics program export it as a PNG (24-bit) to preserve the transparency and then upload it to Ninja Zoo.
Q: Can I have more than one picture on each side of my shirt?
A: No
Q: Can I have more than one block of text on my shirt?
A: Yes
Q: How do I resize a picture?
A: Handles will appear at the corners of the image when it is on the shirt and active (i.e. you may need to click on the image if you have been doing other things since you selected the image). Once a picture has reahed the maximum size that will print acceptably you will not be able to stretch it any more.
Q: How do I make the text on my shirt bigger/smaller?
A: When a block of text is selected (i.e. a box appears around it) you can change the size of the text in the text pane on the right hand side of the designer.
Q: Can I have pictures and text on the shirt?
A: Certainly
Q: Do the price of the shirts featuring my artwork change when I change the commission?
A: No, the commission that you will earn from somebody else's shirt featuring your artwork will depend on the commission set on the artwork when the shirt was designed.
Q: What happens if I decide to stop sharing some of my artwork?
A: People will no longer be able to design new products using your artwork. However, previously designed products will still be available.
